This tower has been part of the Idaho Falls landscape for more than 80 years. It was completed in 1937 by the Chicago Bridge and Iron Company. The style is called a Horton Tank. The bowl of the tower is 51 feet in diameter, and holds 500,000 gallons of water. Due to age, the tower is soon to be replaced.
