This immense 235,000-square-foot building in Alameda, California was built in 1927 and was used as a warehouse to store salmon from Alaska. Until recently it still operated as a storage space for various beverage and consumer product brands. The historic building will soon be reborn as one of the largest mixed-use projects in the East Bay, with 380 housing units and 30,000 square feet of retail.
